Greetings Distinguished Delegates,
I am honored to serve as a co-chair in the Environmental Committee at this year's BERMUN conference. As one of the chairs of the Environmental Committee, I am excited to delve into the complex challenges facing our planet today, including the impact of capitalism on our environment. The environment is an issue that transcends national borders and requires a collaborative, multilateral approach. Through our discussions and debates, I am confident that we can develop innovative solutions to mitigate the environmental crisis and ensure a sustainable future for generations to come, while also addressing the systemic issues that stem from capitalism.
I am a 17-year-old student in 11th grade at Berlin Cosmopolitan School. With over five years of experience in Model United Nations, I have had the privilege to participate in more than ten conferences, which have been instrumental in shaping my passion for diplomacy, international relations, and global issues.
I am committed to promoting an inclusive and productive environment where every delegate's voice is heard and respected. I am confident that with our collective efforts, we can make a meaningful impact at this year's BERMUN conference and beyond.
I look forward to meeting you all in November and working together to make this conference a success.
Sincerely,
Eralp Toker
Co-Chair of the Environment Committee
