Dear Delegates,
Welcome to the Junior MUN!
I hope that you are looking forward to this year’s BERMUN fall conference.
In the Junior MUN, we will be discussing the question of “Counterterrorism”. As terrorism is a violent force to achieve ideological aims, it is crucial to counter it in this year’s conference to understand and embrace successful “Peacebuilding”.
I would also like to encourage all delegates to actively participate during the debate and to cooperate in problem-solving. The Jr. MUN is a great opportunity to participate as it is specifically made for younger delegates. It is your chance to make friends and socialize with students your age from other schools.
I am 17 years old and attend the 11th grade at the John F. Kennedy School Berlin. This will be my fourth MUN conference and my second one as a Student Officer. I have always been interested in politics, which is why I joined the MUN program. I also enjoy reading, playing the piano, and using my privilege to be politically active in my free time.
Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. I am looking forward to the debate and seeing you at the conference!
