Dear Delegates!

At this year’s BERMUN Conference, I have the honor to serve as the Chair of the Social, Humanitarian and Cultural Committee 2.

As chair of the SOCHUM 2, my goal is to share my passion for solving war-related issues with you and to offer my help and be an open ear in order to better serve the individual needs as well as those of the group for constructive debate.

The theme of this year's BERMUN conference is “Pursuing Peace in a World of War and Conflict”. Women, along with children, have been noticed to be hit the hardest during times of conflict and war, with women not only experiencing abuse and death during war, but also after the conflict has ended. Thus, we will be discussing “Reducing the Impact of War on Women” during our time in the GA3 committee.

Being involved with MUN has given me the opportunity to make new friends and improve my understanding of the hardships people face all around the globe. During this conference, it is my hope that you will use this experience for your own benefit and contribute to making this BERMUN conference one to remember.

Besides being part of the MUN program, I enjoy reading books in the library, listening to all kinds of music, and playing the violin. I am currently in the 10th grade at the John F. Kennedy School in Berlin, and I am glad to once again be a part of BERMUN.

I look forward to meeting you all in November!
