Dear Delegates,

As chair of the Environmental Committee, my goal is to share my passion for solving important issues with you. Furthermore, I look forward to offering my help and an open ear.

This year, our committee will be discussing the issue of promoting biodiversity to support local economies. Biodiversity is the basis of many economies and industries, be it the fish, food, tourist or pharmaceutical market, which makes it a key pillar to modern civil and capitalist society. In the face of environmental degradation and resource exploitation, it proves critical to promote and uphold the world’s biodiversity to carry our society’s economy.

Being involved with MUN has given me the opportunity to make new friends, as well as improve my understanding of the hardships people all around the globe face. During this conference, it is my hope that this experience will prove to be beneficial, and we can all contribute to making this BERMUN conference one to remember.

Besides being part of the MUN program, I enjoy reading books at the library, listening to all kinds of music, and playing video games.

I am a 12th grader at the John F. Kennedy School in Berlin, and I am glad to once again be a part of the BERMUN conference.

I look forward to meeting you all in November!

Sincerely,

Thaddea Tsering

Chair of the Environmental Committee
